Radiant Arts Review welcomes pitches that help readers look more carefully at visual art, its materials, histories and interpretations. Send proposals through the Contact page rather than submitting a full article without agreement.

What we welcome

We are interested in focused essays and explainers about visual choices, art materials, artistic forms, art history, interpretation and display. A strong contribution gives readers a specific question to follow and makes its terms understandable without assuming specialist training.

A useful pitch

Tell us the proposed subject, the central idea, why it suits Radiant Arts Review and how you would develop it. Include a brief note about relevant experience or published work if you wish, but do not invent credentials or send confidential material. We cannot promise acceptance or a particular response time.

Editorial approach

Contributors should distinguish documented facts from personal readings, avoid unsupported claims about intention and respect the rights and context of artworks and images. We may suggest edits for clarity, accuracy and fit before a piece is accepted.
